POTD & review - China Glaze Blue Hawaiian

I recently ordered quite a few nail polishes from http://head2toebeauty.com/ ...I think it was 14 actually. (Post with all colours and photos coming up very soon!)
I was very surprised by how quick delivery was! I think around a week...WOW! I got the package today and of course I tried one immediately.
Blue Hawaiian.
I have to be honest...it's kind of hard to "spread", it's a bit gloopy but I guess it's all the glitters it's loaded with. It's a gorgeous deep turquoise coour with a ton of glitters in different shades of blues, greens, yellows and oranges(unfortunately you can't appreciate the variety of the glitters in the photos I took, it was the light, and with flash it was ....well....too much flash...).
I had to put 2 coats on as the colour is very watery. Over that I put 2 coats of the China Glaze No Chip Top Coat: I'm always doing the wash up and I'm a very handy person(no jokes, guys! ;-) ), so I figured this polish would chip almost instantly without a good top coat!
I was very surprised by how fast both the polish and top coat dried!!! WOW! super fast!
So far I'm loving the colour, I will keep you posted on the radiance/lustre/colour in case it gets bad in the next few days.
Ciao for now,
Lil

*EDITED*
I have to say I was a bit disappointed because when it came to removing it, it just wouldn't come off!!! No matter what nail polish I used, it just wasn't coming off! I know I really SHOULDN'T have but what I did was I just cracked the polish with my teeth and it just very easily came off in 2 or 3 pieces per nail.

  1. I have trouble with the jelly glitters too! I've bought a few thinking it was glitter in a clear base and it was colored, and then I didn't know what to do with them :( It's such a pretty color though! Maybe over a light creme blue?

  2. I bought a few of these knowing what they are. The light blue base is a good idea although then i would only do one coat of glitters
